Punjab to Roll Out ‘Easy Registration’ System from June 20: CM Mann

Patiala  10 June 2025 :Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann once again launched a strong attack on the corrupt today, warning them to give up bribery, or else the government will not spare anyone. He said corruption is like cancer, which the government is trying to cure, but public cooperation is essential.

The Chief Minister was expressing his views after inaugurating the Tehsil Complex built at a cost of ₹8.55 crore in Dudhan Sadhan, located in the Sanaur assembly constituency of Patiala district. He said that while the government has improved the financial condition of the state, it has also enhanced the condition of government schools and hospitals. Now, property registrations and mutations will be done under one roof at tehsils.

The Chief Minister announced that by June 20, the online registration system will be implemented in all districts. People will now be able to register property by visiting service centers in tehsils, paying a fee of ₹500. Registrations can be written in any language.

He added that money earned through corruption never lasts. Some end up with fractures, some get hospitalized, and some land in jail. He said he is fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to him by the people with full honesty. He also mentioned that earlier, neither the Badal family nor the Captain family lived in the CM residence in Chandigarh. Captain used to stay at Siswan Farmhouse, but now he (Mann) lives in the CM House and also holds meetings there.

Summary:
CM Bhagwant Mann announced a new system enabling digital, corruption-free property registration at any sub-registrar office in Punjab starting June 20.
