Batala, June 11, 2025 :Punjab’s Working President and young MLA from Batala, Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, shared that under the unwavering commitment to industrial rejuvenation, the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has released an incentive amount of ₹180 crore for industrial development in the state during the first two months of the financial year 2025–26.
MLA Sherry Kalsi stated that under various progressive policies, the financial year 2025–26 budget has allocated a total of ₹250 crore as industrial incentives, out of which 72% has already been disbursed through this allotment. He added that this significant investment is a symbol of the AAP government’s commitment to promoting an environment conducive to industrial growth and development.
In addition to releasing the incentive amount, necessary funds will also be dedicated to establishing industrial focal points across various districts of the state, which will lay a strong foundation for future development. He emphasized that these active measures are a direct result of the “Punjab Industrial Revolution” led by the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal.
MLA Sherry Kalsi underlined the vital role of industrial development in the overall progress of Punjab, especially in creating significant employment opportunities for the youth. He stressed that alongside financial support, the Punjab government is actively implementing revolutionary administrative reforms to eliminate any existing obstacles in setting up new industries. He firmly reiterated that there will be no financial shortfall in efforts to boost industry within Punjab.
