Chandigarh, January 9, 2025: Renowned poet, writer, journalist, and filmmaker Pritish Nandy has passed away, leaving the stars in mourning. Actor Anupam Kher paid tribute to Pritish Nandy on Instagram, remembering him fondly.

“I am deeply saddened and shocked by the passing of my closest friend, Pritish Nandy. He was a remarkable poet, writer, filmmaker, and a courageous editor/journalist. During my early days, he became a strong support system and a great source of strength for me. We shared many experiences together.”

Most importantly, I will never forget him.”
