Tarn Taran, 22 July 2025 : To provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth, the Punjab Government and Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran, Shri Rahul IAS, under the guidance of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Shri Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, will organize a self-employment and placement camp on July 24, 2025, at District Employment and Business Bureau, Room No. 115, First Floor, DC Office Complex, Sarhali Road (Village Piddi), Tarn Taran, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Sharing details about the camp, Shri Vikramjeet, District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Tarn Taran, urged unemployed candidates to participate in the camp in large numbers.
He informed that the Punjab Land Records Society, Deputy Commissioner Office Tarn Taran, will conduct recruitment during the camp for digital crop survey roles. The eligibility criteria include a minimum qualification of 10th or 12th pass (males only) and a minimum age of 18 years.
The placement camp is being organized in collaboration with the General Manager District Industries Centre, Deputy Directors of Dairy, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandry Departments, District Manager SCFC, and Lead District Manager Tarn Taran.
Various departments will provide information on self-employment schemes, training, and job opportunities, and eligible candidates will be assisted on the spot in filling application forms for different departmental loan schemes. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate.
