Strict guidelines issued for Punjab School Education Department’s Board Exams

board exam

Chandigarh, February 18 : The Punjab School Education Department is preparing vigorously for the board exams. It is important to note that the 12th-grade board exams will be held from February 19 to April 4, starting at 11 AM at the exam centers established by the board. The question papers related to these exams were handed over to the principal cum central controller through the district manager and regional office staff from February 13 to February 15, and then kept in safe custody in banks.

It has come to attention that some principal cum center controllers, instead of receiving the question papers directly from the bank, sent other teachers or staff members from their schools to collect them. Additionally, the scanning of the question papers has also been carried out by teachers and staff members. In this regard, all principal cum center controllers have been instructed to ensure, considering the confidentiality and importance of the exams, that they personally go to the bank to scan/receive the question papers on the exam days from February 19 to April 4. This task may only be assigned to a responsible teacher in the school in unavoidable circumstances.

Summary: The Punjab School Education Department has issued strict instructions to ensure proper conduct and security during the upcoming board exams.
