Sri Anandpur Sahib, June 5, 2025: Keeping the environment clean and taking measures to prevent pollution are highly commendable efforts. To make Punjab green and flourishing, the cooperation of social service organizations and religious groups is extremely important alongside the government.
These views were expressed by Sandeep Pathrian, Tehsildar, today at the Tehsil office in Sri Anandpur Sahib during a tree-planting event. Along with him, Amreek Singh, Rakesh Kapila, Jasdeep Singh, and other responsible citizens were also present.
He said that it is very important not only to plant trees and keep the surroundings clean but also to keep dustbins in our homes, dispose of garbage in a timely and proper place, clean streets and drains, and avoid open defecation.
He added that it is our responsibility to take care of the trees planted to prevent pollution. He further said that by planting home gardens and using pesticide-free organic fertilizers to grow fruits and vegetables at home, we can create a healthy society.
On this occasion, Rajan Sharma, Dharminder Singh, Ishaat Sharma, Harjinder Singh, Paul Singh, Jasveer Singh, Harpreet Kaur, Anju Bala, Sandeep Singh, Ramesh Chander, and others were present.
