November 17, 2025 : US President Donald Trump made a major U-turn on Sunday and called on Republicans to vote to release the Epstein Files. Taking to Truth Social, the US president said he has nothing to hide and called on the release of the files as its “time to move on.”
“House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The 79-year-old Republican has accused Democrats of pushing an “Epstein hoax” after emails emerged in which disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein suggested Trump “knew about the girls”.
“It’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat “Shutdown.”” Trump wrote, adding that the Department of Justice has already turned over “tens of thousands of pages to the public.”
“The House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE! All I do care about is that Republicans get BACK ON POINT, which is the Economy, “Affordability” (where we are winning BIG!), our Victory on reducing Inflation from the highest level in History to practically nothing, bringing down prices for the American People, delivering Historic Tax Cuts, gaining Trillions of Dollars of Investment into America (A RECORD!), the rebuilding of our Military, securing our Border, deporting Criminal Illegal Aliens, ending Men in Women’s Sports, stopping Transgender for Everyone, and so much more!” Trump added further.
The US president also stated that ‘nobody cared about Epstein when he was alive.”
Trump further targeted Democrats and accused them of delaying the release of the files. The president also stated that some members of the “Republican party are being used”, referring to his public fallout and feud with Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene.
‘Bubbagate’ goes viral
The most recent documents from the Epstein files are a series of emails from Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, and have gone viral.
In the email to Steve Bannon dated 2018, Mark speculates whether Russian President Vladimir Putin has a photo of “Trump blowing Bubba.“
The email chain between the brothers starts off with a regular exchange in which Jeffrey reveals he is with Steve Bannon. Bannon at the time served as a chief strategist in the first Trump administration.
After learning this, Mark proceeds to write – “Ask him if Putin has photos of Trump blowing Bubba?”
While the emails do not specify who “Bubba” refers to in this context, social media started speculating that it is former president Bill Clinton,
Clinton’s nickname is reportedly Bubba, and the former president has also been associated with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. While Clinton has denied any wrongdoing, he has been linked to Epstein through multiple flights on Epstein’s private jet, visits to his private island and testimonies from the survivors.
