Babulal Marandi

Ranchi , December 12, 2024 (Navroze Bureau) – BJP state president Babulal Marandi shared a post on his social media handle X saying that the situation in Guddi area of West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand has become very tense and frightening. There is a deep conflict going on between PLFI (People’s Liberation Front of India) and Maoist groups over illegal activities like opium and cannabis cultivation and sand mining. The tension in the area has increased so much that so far about 22 people have been reported missing and more than 10 people have been killed. Recently, the incident of murder of an Odisha resident has made the situation even more frightening.

Babulal Marandi said that the video of this brutal murder is so horrific that it cannot be shared on social media, so I am just sharing the screenshot. If the administration wants, it can get the soul-stirring video from me. According to sources, the villagers have reportedly announced that if any outsider is seen with a phone or vehicle in the area, he will be killed. This type of situation is not only challenging the law and order in the area, but is also creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the local community.

Babulal Marandi said that in this situation, it is very important that the government and administration intervene immediately in this area. Effective steps should be taken to provide justice to the victim families, search for missing persons, restore peace and stability in the area. Also, the local community should also be made aware that problems cannot be solved by violence and aggression. This conflict can be resolved only through dialogue and consensus. He asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Jharkhand Police to ensure immediate action on the sensitive issue. He also requested to make every possible effort to establish peace and ensure the strictest punishment to the culprits.
