In this context, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann shared a post on the social media platform X, providing a detailed account of the work carried out so far by the state health department, including statistical data.
CM Mann stated that special health camps have been set up in the flood-affected areas by the Punjab government. He assured that the health of the people will be fully taken care of, saying, “The whole of Punjab is my family, and I am committed to the health of my family.” He also mentioned that to maintain transparency and keep people informed of the situation, these health-related statistics will be made public every day at 6 PM.
Published statistics:
CM Mann shared that through these camps, 2,101 villages have been covered, where millions of people were affected by the floods. A total of 14,23,95 patients have been examined in these camps. According to the latest data from the health department, 19,187 patients were found suffering from fever, while 4,544 patients were dealing with diarrhea. Additionally, 22,118 people had skin-related issues, and 10,304 people were suffering from eye infections.
