Punjab weather update for Oct 13–17: cooler days ahead expected

October 13, 2025 : The weather in Punjab has started to change. There is now a slight chill in the evenings. The Meteorological Department has issued a new forecast for the coming days. According to the department, the weather in the state is expected to remain pleasant next week. There is no likelihood of rain in the coming days, and no alerts have been issued for the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, or 17th.

Over the next week, the maximum daytime temperature may rise by 2 to 3 degrees, after which the weather will remain normal. Nights will continue to be cool. In the last 24 hours, the temperature increased by only 0.4 degrees; however, the overall temperature across the state remained 2.2 degrees below normal. The highest temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 32.8°C in Bathinda. According to the Meteorological Centre, the weather across the state is expected to remain pleasant next week.

Agricultural experts believe that due to excessive rainfall last month, barley crops in several areas have not yet fully ripened. At this time, sunshine will be beneficial for barley and will help maintain light moisture in the atmosphere.

However, due to sudden weather changes, people may become vulnerable to seasonal illnesses. Hence, the public has been advised to remain cautious.

Summary :
Fresh forecasts suggest Punjab will experience pleasant weather from October 13 to 17, with cooler evenings, mild days, and no significant rainfall expected.
