Fazilka MLA Mr. Narinder Pal Singh Sawhney and Madam Khushboo Sawhney, Chairperson of the Khushi Foundation, today visited government schools in the villages of Bakainwala, Jandwala Meera, Sangla, Kheowali Dhab, and Kabul Shah Khubban, where they distributed school bags to students.
On the occasion, Madam Khushboo Sawhney not only distributed school bags but also encouraged the children to study with dedication. She said, “Education is the foundation of a progressive society. The Khushi Foundation will always remain committed to supporting children’s education and helping build a brighter future for them.”
She further stated that under the Punjab Government’s Education Revolution Campaign, government schools are now equipped with modern facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, clean drinking water, separate toilets for boys and girls, boundary walls, smart classrooms, integrated science laboratories, interactive panels, playgrounds, and modern furniture.
She added that, under this initiative, government schools are now outperforming private schools in terms of educational quality. She also said that the Punjab Government is not only providing quality education but is also fostering a conducive learning environment in government schools.
Among those present on the occasion were Harjit Singh, Sarpanch of Bakainwala; Gurpreet Singh Dhillon; Harjinder Kumar (Rai Sahib); Chairman Surinder Kumar; Surinder Kumar, Sarpanch of Jandwala Meera; Avtar Pula; Arvind Bhobhia; Neeraj Rinwa, Youth President of Kheowali Dhab; Block President Dalip Saharan; Amit Rinwa; Dharamvir, Sarpanch of Kabul Shah Khubban; along with several other local leaders.
