Batala, July 27: Punjab AAP Working President and MLA Sherry Kalsi listened to public grievances under the Lok Milni (Public Interaction) programme and directed the concerned officials to resolve the issues on priority.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sherry Kalsi said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government is carrying out comprehensive development works across Punjab. As part of these efforts, several public welfare and development projects are being undertaken in the Batala Assembly constituency.
He further said that fulfilling the basic needs of the people and ensuring the overall development of the constituency remains his top priority. He added that development works in the historic and religious city of Batala will be carried out at an accelerated pace.
Highlighting the development initiatives already undertaken in the constituency, the MLA said that projects including drainage systems for wastewater, construction of streets, sewerage infrastructure, and beautification of parks are being executed. He emphasized that no negligence or delay in development works will be tolerated.
