A special documentary campaign launched by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is receiving an enthusiastic response at the village level. The initiative aims to spread Guru Ji’s message of social equality, humanity, and brotherhood to every household, helping people strengthen their connection with their spiritual and social heritage.
As part of the campaign, a 30-minute documentary was screened on a large modern LED screen in the villages of Naushahra Majha Singh and Behibal Chak under the Batala Assembly constituency. The film presented the life of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, his humanistic philosophy, his teachings on social equality, and his message of public welfare in an inspiring and engaging manner.
A large number of villagers and young people attended the screening. Appreciating the initiative, residents said that such programmes not only help people understand Guru Ji’s teachings but also strengthen the values of mutual love, harmony, equality, and communal brotherhood in society.
The Punjab Government will organize similar documentary screenings in other villages of the constituency in the coming days. Through this initiative, the government aims to connect the younger generation with the inspiring ideology of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj and take his message of equality, humanity, and the welfare of all to every home.
