The weather in Punjab has started changing. In fact, the average maximum temperature has dropped by 0.4 degrees in 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for dense fog at many places today, due to which visibility is being affected.
People have started wearing winter clothes in the morning and evening. The sun is shining during the day but due to clouds and smog, there is a feeling of light fog. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light drizzle after November 12, which will increase the cold.
On the other hand, if we talk about the AQI of other districts of the state, Jalandhar’s AOI is 207, Amritsar’s 202, Ludhiana’s 202, Bathinda’s 175 and Patiala’s 199. According to experts, the AQI should be below 50.
