Faridkot, April 18 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has launched the CM Yoga Workshop, which is being conducted at various locations across the district. A large number of district residents are benefiting from the free yoga classes. This information was shared by Deputy Commissioner Madam Poonamdeep Kaur.
Providing further details about this, the Deputy Commissioner explained that under the CM Yoga Workshop, expert yoga trainers have been appointed who educate people about the importance of yoga and teach them the correct techniques for practicing yoga.
She mentioned that yoga sessions have been held at Ramsharn Ashram Kotkapura and Vishwakarma Dharamshala, Misriyan Wali Gali, Jaito, where people are being trained in yoga.
She appealed to all district residents to make the most of these ongoing yoga classes in the district.
She added that for those interested in learning yoga, the Punjab government has established a helpline number 76694-00500, through which people can make a missed call to arrange free yoga classes in their neighborhoods. Additionally, registration can also be done at cmdiyogsala.punjab.gov.in. If a group of 25 people is formed, they can make a missed call to the phone number to arrange free yoga classes in their neighborhood or any colony.
