Ferozepur, August 25:
Under the guidance of Deputy Director, Dairy Development, Randeep Kumar, an awareness camp on the importance and quality of milk was organized at Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School, Hukam Singh Wala, Ferozepur, to create awareness among schoolchildren about the importance of milk. The students and staff of the school participated in the camp with great enthusiasm.
During the camp, Randeep Kumar, Deputy Director, Dairy Development, provided the students with detailed information about milk, its composition, and the comparison between milk and soft drinks, including the harmful effects of soft drinks on health.
On the occasion, Amandeep Singh, Dairy Development Inspector, informed the students about the nutritional elements present in milk, its effects on the human body, and the importance of milk in daily life. He also encouraged the children to consume milk every day.
The Deputy Director, Dairy Development, and the team of the Dairy Development Department expressed their special gratitude to the school principal and District Education Officer Dr. Satinder Singh, Vice Principal Sukriti Sharma, Sunil Kamboj, and the entire staff for their valuable contribution in organizing the camp.
During the camp, milk samples brought by the schoolchildren were tested, and the students were also provided with the test reports. Randeep Kumar honoured the Vice Principal with a memento as a token of appreciation.
