Batala, September 14: Preparations for the Vivah Purab celebrations, to be held in Batala on September 18, are underway on a war footing by the district administration. Speaking in this regard, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Batala-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur, Gursimran Singh Dhillon, said that various departments are carrying out necessary arrangements keeping the convenience of devotees in mind.
He said that several help desks have been established for the convenience of city residents so that any problems related to streetlights, sewerage, or sanitation can be resolved promptly.
