Batala, July 28 – Mayor Bhupinder Singh Bajwa distributed school bags to students at the School of Eminence, Dharampura Colony, Batala, under the education promotion campaign launched by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann. The distribution was carried out in accordance with the directions of MLA Amansher Singh “Sherry” Kalsi. On the occasion, students were encouraged to study with dedication and work towards achieving their dreams.
Present at the event were Deputy DEO Anil Sharma, Youth Wing Constituency In-charge Vinu Kahlon, Councillor Bunty, Lambardar Amrik Singh, and other distinguished guests.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Bhupinder Singh Bajwa said that the Punjab Government’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of education have enabled students of government schools to excel in various fields. He stated that government schools across Punjab are witnessing a new era of transformation.
He added that modern classrooms equipped with digital and interactive learning facilities are helping students receive a better and more engaging education.
The Mayor also urged students to remain focused on their studies and progress through hard work. He emphasized that education is the key to the progress of society and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting students in every possible way.
