Sri Anandpur Sahib, July 30: The Independence Day celebrations will be held with great enthusiasm at Charan Ganga Stadium, Sri Anandpur Sahib. On August 15, the Chief Guest will hoist the National Flag at the stadium and inspect the ceremonial parade.
Today, students from various schools presented patriotic and cultural performances at Charan Ganga Stadium as part of the selection process for the Independence Day function. Members of the committee formed to select the cultural and patriotic performances stated that the event would be organized in a highly impressive manner.
The selection committee, comprising Principal Sukhpal Kaur Walia, Ajay Bains, Ranjit Singh, and Seema Jassal Maibra, carefully evaluated the performances. They emphasized the importance of preserving and celebrating our culture and heritage while remembering the freedom fighters whose sacrifices earned India its independence.
They also noted that NCC cadets are enthusiastically participating in the march-past, while the PT show and several other patriotic performances will be among the main attractions of the celebration.
The committee encouraged students and teachers from participating schools to contribute with even greater enthusiasm, describing Independence Day as the nation’s greatest festival that should be celebrated collectively and with pride.
