Fatehgarh Sahib, September 21
In connection with the Special Intensive Revision-2026, Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare-cum-Roll Observer Sumer Singh Gurzar, IAS, held a special meeting with Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Ms. Amarbir Kaur Bhullar and the Electoral Registration Officers of all constituencies at the Conference Hall of the District Administrative Complex.
During the meeting, Roll Observer Sumer Singh Gurzar conducted a super-checking of the claims and objections received during the Special Intensive Revision-2026 from August 13 to September 12, 2026. He directed all Electoral Registration Officers to ensure that applications received with incomplete documents are re-examined so that no eligible voter is deprived of the opportunity to get registered as a voter.
He also reviewed the photo electoral rolls of all constituencies and expressed satisfaction with their status.
On the occasion, SDM Fatehgarh Sahib Mr. Karun Gupta, SDM Bassi Pathana Ms. Deepjot Kaur, SDM Amloh Ms. Harveer Kaur, Tehsildar Elections Ms. Nirmala Rani, along with other officials, were present.
