As part of the series of events being organized by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, a special drone show held in Amargarh brought Guru Ji’s bani, philosophy of life and message of human equality to life through the language of light. MLA Amargarh Prof. Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra, along with thousands of devotees, witnessed and enjoyed this unique presentation.
As dusk fell, 500 drones created various illuminated formations in the sky, depicting different aspects of the life, bani and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. This presentation of spiritual heritage through modern technology provided a novel medium, particularly for children and youth, to connect with Guru Ji’s message.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Gajjan Majra said that the path of equality, honest labour, human dignity and communal harmony shown by Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji continues to guide society even today. He said that the drone shows being organized across all 92 Assembly constituencies of the state as part of the celebrations marking the 650th Parkash Purab are a unique initiative to take Guru Ji’s ideological legacy to the younger generation.
MLA Amargarh Prof. Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra, while appreciating the initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for the year-long celebrations dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, said that organizing drone shows, special documentaries in villages and other events to take Guru Ji’s bani, philosophy of life and message of universal brotherhood to every household is a meaningful effort to connect devotion with public consciousness.
He said that these events provide a major opportunity, especially for the younger generation, to connect with Guru Ji’s philosophy of equality, human dignity and communal harmony. Adding a spiritual dimension to the event, the Dhadi Jatha led by Tarsem Singh Khetla connected the gathering with the ideological and spiritual legacy of Guru Sahib through traditional ballads.
He said that the illuminated presentation was not merely a visual experience, but an opportunity to connect the younger generation with the eternal message of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji concerning equality, fraternity, social justice and human dignity.
He invited the people to reach Al-Falah Senior Secondary Public School, Malerkotla, at 6 p.m. on September 25, along with their families and children, to witness the unique presentation by 500 drones. He appealed to youth, students and residents of the entire area to participate in large numbers.
