26 December 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the national programme marking ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ on Friday at Bharat Mandapam here and address the gathering, the government said on Wednesday.
Veer Baal Diwas is observed to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh, whose sacrifice at a tender age has come to symbolise courage, faith and unwavering commitment to righteousness.
To mark the occasion, the Centre is organising participative programmes across the country to educate citizens, especially the youth, about the extraordinary bravery and supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzades.
