Documentary Film Screenings to Be Held in Villages Himmatgarh Chhanna, Bhambri, Kheri and Mullanpur Kalan on August 1

Amloh/Fatehgarh Sahib, July 31:

To commemorate the 650th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, the Punjab Government is continuing its awareness campaign across villages in Fatehgarh Sahib district through a special documentary film highlighting the Guru’s life, philosophy, and contributions to social reform.

As part of this initiative, documentary screenings were recently organized in Wazir Nagar and Mullanpur Kalan villages of Sirhind Block, and Mashrai Khurd and Rurki villages of Amloh Block. Residents attended the screenings and learned about Sri Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, brotherhood, human unity, and social harmony.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Surinder Singh Dhaliwal said that these village-level screenings are being organized continuously to ensure that more people become familiar with the inspiring teachings and ideology of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.

He further informed that on August 1, documentary screenings will be held in Himmatgarh Chhanna and Bhambri villages of Amloh Block, as well as Kheri and Mullanpur Kalan villages of Sirhind Block.

The district administration has appealed to all residents of the area to participate in these screenings and draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
