5 Aug 2026 (Navroze Bureau) : Actor Himanshu Malhotra has confirmed that he and his wife, actor Amruta Khanvilkar, have been living separately for the past one and a half years, while clarifying that they have not initiated divorce proceedings.
He emphasised that despite the separation, the couple remains legally married.
Couple Confirms Separation
Himanshu revealed that the two have been staying apart for around 18 months due to personal differences.
However, he said they have not taken any legal steps to end their marriage.

Addressing speculation about their relationship, Himanshu stated that there have been no discussions about divorce so far.
He added that while they are living separately, they continue to maintain mutual respect for each other.
