MLA S. Gurdit Singh Sekhon held a meeting with all the Block Presidents, Sarpanches and Panches and reviewed the development works currently underway in the constituency. During the meeting, various development projects related to the villages and the needs of the people were discussed. Mr. Ayush was also specially present on the occasion.
MLA S. Gurdit Singh Sekhon, while appreciating the various facilities and relief measures being provided by the Punjab Government to the common people and families, said that the government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken several important decisions to reduce household expenses and strengthen the financial condition of the people. He said that the common family is at the centre of the government’s policies, and efforts are being made to provide maximum relief to people in electricity, education, healthcare, ration and other essential services.
S. Sekhon said that the welfare initiatives being undertaken by the government are helping increase the monthly savings of families and providing them with greater financial support to focus on their children’s education, healthcare and other essential needs. He said that the relief being provided by the Punjab Government to ordinary citizens is not limited to announcements, but its direct benefits are reaching people in their homes. He added that the government’s objective is to financially strengthen every family in Punjab and make people’s day-to-day lives more comfortable.
