Punjab 16 May 2025: The war against drugs continues in Punjab. As per the directions of Chief Minister Mann, an anti-drug campaign is underway in Punjab, under which bulldozers are being used to demolish the houses of traffickers built with drug money. In this context, Arvind Kejriwal shared information through a tweet. He said that in the past two and a half months, the Punjab Police and Punjab government have launched a war against drugs. For the first time, action is being taken on such a large scale against drug traffickers.
From today, a “Drug-Free Punjab” march is starting in Punjab. This march will go to every village and every ward in Punjab. Through this march, people will now be connected with the drug de-addiction campaign. In every village and ward, people will take a pledge that they themselves will not consume drugs, will not allow anyone to sell drugs in their area, and will get treatment for drug addicts to help them come out of addiction. The Punjab government has made extensive arrangements for the treatment of drug addicts. This march will be inaugurated today by Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He has claimed that the three crore members of Punjab’s families are now determined to eradicate drugs from Punjab.
