Applications for Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award Open Until August 15: District Child Protection Officer

Fatehgarh Sahib, August 4:

The Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited applications for the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award, which recognizes exceptionally talented children for their outstanding achievements in various fields.

Sharing this information, District Child Protection Officer Harbhajan Singh Mehmi said that the prestigious national award is presented to children who have made remarkable contributions in the fields of bravery, sports, social service, environment, art and culture, and science and technology.

He informed that children between the ages of 6 and 18 years are eligible to apply for the award. The award is open to all eligible children across the country who meet the prescribed age criteria.

The District Child Protection Officer further stated that the Government has extended the application deadline, and nominations can now be submitted online through the National Awards Portal until August 15, 2026.
