Zira/Ferozepur, September 29:
Under the guidance of AYUSH Commissioner Punjab and Director of Ayurveda Punjab Dr. Raman Khanna, Director of Homoeopathy Punjab Dr. Harinderpal Singh, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. Rupinderdeep Kaur Gill, and District Homoeopathy Officer Dr. Rupinder Kaur, a total of 10 AYUSH medical camps were organized at different locations across the district from September 10 to September 29. The tenth and final camp was held at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Modi Khana, Zira, Ferozepur.
District Homoeopathy Officer Dr. Rupinder Kaur said that 560 patients were examined at today’s tenth and final AYUSH medical camp. Free blood sugar tests were conducted and medicines were distributed free of cost. She said that a total of around 5,317 patients have been provided free medical check-ups during the 10 camps organized so far, along with free blood sugar testing and medicines.
During the camp, doctors and staff from the Ayurvedic Department, including Dr. Jaskwanlpreet Kaur, Dr. Suman Dhanju, Dr. Praveen Kumar Rana, Mr. Ramandeep Singh, Mr. Sukhpreet Singh and Ms. Kinder Kaur, Up-Vaid, along with Dr. Satnam Singh Gill, Baljit Singh and Gurwinder Singh, Dispenser, from the Homoeopathy Department, performed their duties.
The camp received full support from the Helping Hand Welfare Society, Zira. On the occasion, President of Helping Hand Welfare Society, Zira, Harpreet Singh (Bablu), along with Sukhjinder Singh Ahuja, Harjit Singh, Sukha, Deepak Vij, Baljinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Namdev, Rinku Ahuja, Tinku Kapoor, Ritika, Ginni, Sonu and others were present.
