Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains Flags Off Pilgrimage Bus from Meedhwan Upper

Sri Anandpur Sahib, September 18:

Under the Punjab Government’s Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme, Sri Anandpur Sahib MLA and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains today flagged off a pilgrimage bus from Meedhwan Upper. The devotees travelling on the pilgrimage expressed great enthusiasm and thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains for the initiative.

Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the bus would travel to Sri Amritsar Sahib. He stated that all expenses of the pilgrimage are being borne by the Punjab Government and that no money is being charged from the devotees. He added that a large number of devotees have already benefited from the pilgrimage scheme and expressed gratitude for the support and appreciation received from people across the state.

The Cabinet Minister said that the scheme launched by the Punjab Government is an important initiative for people with religious faith. Through the scheme, devotees are being provided an opportunity to visit various sacred religious places. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is committed to the welfare of all sections of society and is continuously working to provide facilities to the people.

Mr. Bains extended his best wishes to the devotees embarking on the pilgrimage and wished them a safe, comfortable and blessed journey. The devotees also thanked the Punjab Government and MLA Harjot Singh Bains and appreciated the initiative.
